Fused Glass Designs Kit Review
Glass fused jewelry is now much easier and can even be done in your microwave with the new microwave kiln.
The kiln is made from the same material as used on the space shuttle to protect the surface and are an easy and cheap way to get started with fused glass designs.
You can crate stunning jewellery pendants, fashionable earrings, bracelets and much more. This is one of the simplest and easy ways to fuse glass we have ever seen. A Glass Fusing Jewerly kit is available containing full instructions and everything you need to learn a craft that young adults and grown-ups can enjoy for a lifetime.
This is an opportunity to create gorgeous kiln-fired glass jewellery and embellishments in minutes using your microwave! You fised glass designs can range in size up to 7.5cm in diameter and it takes about 3 minutes to create in the microwave. The kiln is lightweight and compact for portability and easy storage.
The manufacturer recommends a microwave with the rating 800-1200 watts and have a metal interior. The results vary according to the microwave which we recommend should not be used for food if using the microwave regularly for fusing.

The Instructions include advice on glass cutting and firing techniques plus a section on troubleshooting if things go wrong as they can do in the best of regulated projects.

Many have used this kiln as a low cost start up to the later acquisition of a large brick kiln for volume production with glass slumping molds. You get the chance to see if fusible is your thing, before spending the thousand or so dollars for a production kiln. Makes sense!
