I already went to the engagement party and did not give a gift. I am invited to the shower and the wedding . If I attend the shower and the wedding do I have to give 2 gifts? Is it rude to skip the shower and just go to the wedding bearing a gift?

No. The only gift that is customary is the wedding gift.
